ABOUT ME

Here is some information about myself & my work

Hi my name is Luke and I’m a self taught full stack web developer with a focus on Javascript frameworks. I started learning how to code back in 2016, initially learning the basics of HTML/CSS before progressing further to learning languages like Javascript & Python. As of mid 2019, I decided to dedicate myself full time to learning web development as I come to realise that there isn’t anything else that provides me with the same creative fulfillment than building apps on the web. Ever since this turning point I haven’t stopped learning & building apps, constantly obsessing about how I can solve harder problems, write more elegant code or simplify a process down to its most elementary form. I’m constantly looking to learn and develop my ability not only as a web developer but as a software engineer. This is why I chose to study a part time remote degree in Information technology & Communication (Software) which gives me the freedom to still work full time remote hours whilst also learning the fundamentals of software engineering. I decided to build this portfolio website as a way to showcase the projects that I have worked upon as well as the courses that I have studied. I hope that this website provides you with enough details to judge my skills & abilities in a way that isn’t too time consuming or ambiguous.

Codeflo is a productised landing page development service (I know it's quite a mouthful) which I built as a consequence of being inspired by a website called DesignJoy.co. In summary, codeflo offers users landing page development services for a flexible amount per month. Upon users signing up with codeflo they gain access to a personalised auth controlled dashboard interface whereby they can do things like adding clients or changing there quota

Airtrackr is a flight & location tracking application that allows users to view details on the status of their flight as well as location details about the destinations that they are traveling to. Users input conventional information about their flight such as depart & return dates, airline, depart & return airport to which the app then uses this data to fetch the appropriate information from a myriad of different api endpoints.
